COMPUTER REPAIR TECHNICIAN
The course is offered every weekday (Mon. through Thurs.) from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 4 hours a day on Fridays and for 512 clock hours in the period of 80 days.
This course is designed to prepare students for any work environment where computers are used. By the completion of the course, graduates will be able to: Have the ability to build their own computer, network computers, do hardware, software, upgrades and repairs. Work with various operating systems, including XP. Students will also learn word processing programs and be Internet literate. During the course of the studies, students will be issued a used but repair-able computer for them to diagnose, repair and keep.
Employment Opportunities
This course, prepares students for entry-level computer operations and repair service positions, will afford them the opportunity to compete in the labor market as Test and Repair Technician, Testing and Diagnostic Technician.
